The Rail Shield is designed to protect your baby against bumps and bruises caused by falling against the crib railing, and from the harmful bacteria build-up and germs found on other cotton rail pads. It also protects the crib railing from teething babies.

Unique Material – The rail shield is made of a unique nylon reinforced PVC material, specially made for OFNA Baby Products. This material has already proven to be a miracle fabric in OFNA’s popular Toddler Shield. OFNA is proud to now bring its unique features to the Rail Shield. For added safety the material is non-toxic and flame retardant. 

Double Protection – The soft inner foam protects the hard wood from teething babies, while the cotton backing preserves your furniture from marring. The soft padding also protects your baby’s head and tender gums against injury from the hard wood. 

Easy to Attach – With the special lace-up button hole design, the Rail Shield can easily be attached to any crib rail for a snug fit. The Rail Shield can be folded for shorter lengths or used end to end for longer lengths. 

Stays in place – Unlike similar products that use Velcro and/or two-sided tape, the Rail Shield is tightly laced to the railing. Once a snug fit is achieved, tie a secure knot and cut off any remaining string. For safety purposes no more than 3 inches should remain. Since the Rail Shield can be wiped clean, there is no need to remove for washing and your baby will be unable to pull it off. 

Hygienic and Sanitary – The Rail Shield is made from non-porous material. Unlike cotton products, Rail Shield reduces the absorption of bacteria from baby’s mouth. There is no need to remove for cleaning – simply wipe clean with a damp cloth.
